Aviary with a conical roof used to capture black crows and rook crows.

1 fox cage to be placed inside on a 2 Metres side of the raven which is 75cm wide and 75cm high.

This fox cage will attract the fox inside. It will seek to reach the corvids and will be locked up thanks to the pallet release located in the middle of the fox cage.

Use of the raven box :

Entry of the birds by wooden squares, attracted by live decoys inside, the crows enter by the ladder by dropping down.

They enter with closed wings and cannot come out with open wings.

The decoys must be watered and fed regularly (corn, poultry offal, dog meat kibbles...) The whole must be attractive to other birds of the same species.

Remember to provide a shelter and a perch inside your cage for your decoys.

This raven has an access door for the trapper.

The location of the raven box will be carefully chosen, close to the crows' favourite place (dead tree, dormitory...), where they spend the morning and evening.

It should not be forgotten that each move (which will be obligatory if the cage does not take) is made tedious by the weight of the cage and its handling time: dismantling, transport, reassembly, reinstallation of the callers.

The corbel must be lifted every day. We advise you to wait until nightfall because corvids have very good eyesight and observe you very well. Moreover, darkness soothes them and they will be less difficult to catch.

This type of product is almost indestructible, and only a very long time or voluntary degradation could overcome it. On the other hand, hands are more sensitive to beak blows than the cage mesh, so we recommend using handling gloves to remove the catches from the trap.

The advantage of the crow trap is that it is a multi-socket trap, in fact, this cage, unlike our crow and magpie traps (on our website in 2 or 4 entrances) does not need to be rearmed. 

It also allows the capture of large immature crows.
