The car marten stop is an effective ultrasonic device to keep martens and weasels away from vehicles. It is inaudible to human beings. Safe for animals.

Technical specifications

A loudspeaker integrated into the car marten stop control box emits ultrasonic pulses in series, the frequency of which is constantly modulated between 23 and 27 kHz.

Eight stainless steel plates attached to the engine compartment components that can be attacked (pipes, tubes, hoses, wires and cables) are subjected to a voltage of 250 volts by the control box.

The car marten stop is an effective solution for keeping away mustelids such as martens and martens. Indeed, damage is sometimes observed in vehicles (cables or bonnet insulation) following a breakdown due to a short circuit.

Recognizing the marten

To differentiate it from the weasel, you will notice that the marten is generally dark brown / brown (the weasel is lighter grey-brown), the bib is orange yellow and spreads over the chest (white bib in the weasel and more delimited), between the legs and on the neck, the nose is darker than the weasel. The marten is more slender and has larger legs than the weasel.

The marten measures between 36 and 56 cm long, 15 cm at the withers, and its tail measures 17 to 28 cm; its weight is between 0.5 and 2.2 kg.
