Why a rat cage?

This trap replaces the fag. This cage allows you to trap the animal without killing it, thus allowing you, at your choice, to move it to a new, more suitable environment. It is ideal for catching rats as well as other small pests, and in some cases even muskrats.

Equipped with a carrying handle, it is easy to transport your rat trap and also avoids any risk of biting when moving it with a rat inside. We recommend that you bring a pair of gloves with you to avoid catching a disease. Rats can carry leptospirosis, a disease that can be transmitted to animals as well as humans.

The compact size of this rat cage makes it very versatile and can be placed almost anywhere! In addition, the advantage of owning a cage is that you can keep it for a long time, without having to buy traps, such as faggots, on the side.

Tips for use

As this cage has two entrances, it is ideal to place it along a wall, as we know that rats like to walk along them when they are on the move, or in a place where they frequently pass. To increase the chances and speed of capture, you can place a bait in the centre of the rat trap. Be careful not to place the bait on the side of the cage, as the rat may enter the cage and help itself without triggering the door closing mechanism.
