Usage :

The tawny box is used for the capture of mustelids, young foxes, rats, weasels, skunks or other animals likely to cause damage. It allows you to capture pests alive, without injury! The tawny box is easy to use and is suitable for everyone. Simply place this trap in the animal's passage along your henhouse, aviary or pen. Please note that the most attractive places are the runs.

Laying techniques :

Remember to blend your tawny box into the landscape by camouflaging it as you can with vegetation and use handling gloves to avoid leaving smells other than those of the caller. Check the correct release after installation. In addition to avoiding leaving odours, handling gloves will help protect you in case you are bitten by the animal and to prevent disease. There is also a carrying handle on the top of the tawny box so that you can move it around without difficulty.

Choose the right bait :

Put a bait in the middle of the pallet such as eggs or a meat bait which will remain very fragrant for the young fox, fruits or vegetables such as carrots or apples for the coypu. For martens and weasels, apples, figs, slices of gingerbread with honey will be very appreciated. The animal triggers the trap by trying to grab it, this will make the sliding doors fall down, it will then be imprisoned in the cage. Ideal to protect poultry, chickens, ducks, pheasants, partridges, aviary birds.
