The Hingiol trap

This is a very effective fox trap, made of stainless steel and zinc-plated steel, which makes it resistant to corrosion. This trap is triggered by pressure on the paddle. It is robust and reliable, easy to set and does not risk being set off by accident. The Hingiol trap is more effective than the Belisle trap. The capture rate is higher than that of a fox cage, as this trap is more easily concealed.

This non-lethal fox trap has proven itself and is now recognised by many trappers. It is approved under the number 830.

Hénon Shop is the only company to manufacture this fox trap. This model is patented and has proven itself.

Some tips

Change the lace after each use to maximise your chances of success.

Don't forget to wear gloves when handling your fox trap and accessories. The fox is a cunning animal with a good sense of smell, it will detect your scent, and if it does, it will become more wary, reducing your chances of capture.

Don't forget to write your approved trapper number on the base of your Hingiol trap or any other fox trap.

The hunter's journal blog will allow you to learn more about trapping and its techniques. New articles are added regularly on subjects such as hunting, trapping and hunting dogs.

You can also consult our various product sheets which can provide you with additional information.
