How to use it ?

The Henon small garden box is a compromise between the tawny box and the drop box. It is also called Henon cage because it was invented in our workshops.

You can place this small model Henon garden cage in hedges, attics, near manures, in wood piles, or other places where weasels and other mustelids have settled.

When the pest presses the pallet, the top of the Henon small model garden box falls down and gets stuck, so the animal cannot escape. See for yourself on this video :

Its trigger paddle (front only) prevents the animal from triggering the trap by scratching at the back outside of the trap. 

The baits to be placed in the Henon small garden box :

• Poultry or rabbit viscera under the cage at the level of the pallet (to avoid maggot damage); the smell alone will be enough to attract predators.
• Pigeon nest recovered in a "handcuff" with its droppings and a few eggs deposited at the back of the cage on the pallet. 
• Little tip: to avoid the animal wasting its time on the sides of the cage, place a small bundle on each side of the Henon small garden box, or a bundle of wood - without interfering with the triggering of the trap.
• Namely: the weasel appreciates attic space and causes significant damage. The insulation is damaged and soiled by excrement, electric cables are gnawed - also in cars, the weasel or marten can find refuge, you can choose an effective repellent: Stop-martre.
