11L spiral feeder

Technical characteristics :

The 11L spiral stapler consists of :

• 1 post: round iron support with a diameter of 10
• 1 bucket of 11 litres with its lid
• 1 long spiral
• French manufacture in our workshop

Use :

It is very simple to set up your stapler. To install it, simply plant your stake in the ground so that it is well maintained and cannot move. Once planted, you can insert your bucket inside the hoop provided for this purpose. All you have to do is put your spiral in the bottom of the bucket. Your pheasant stapler is now installed, now put your wheat in the bucket, the game will just have to help itself!

The principle of agrainage

Agrination allows small game to find additional food, especially during difficult periods when food is in short supply, or on land with poor nutrition. This supplementation can be essential to ensure that they are in good physical shape and to guarantee a better way of life. 

When to feed?

In spring

That is, from March to June. It is best to place your feeder along paths and winter grain fields. During this period, nests are mainly located in these areas. Agrarian feeding will reduce the risk of predation by the hens, as food will be more readily available and in greater quantity, regardless of the weather conditions. 

It will also create a landmark, making it easier for pairs to move around. 

Autumn to winter

That is, from September to March. Place your pheasant feeder in the areas with the lowest food supply. Here, the practice of agrainage will help to support pheasant and partridge populations, and reduce the mortality that this period can cause.
