Whether you are a beginner or an experienced trapper, the 1 entry fox trap with decoy offers you the durability and efficiency you need for trapping. With this trap, you can also trap stray dogs as well as weasels.

This cage is built with galvanized locksmith mesh, allowing it to be durable over time and weather resistant. It has an additional module, not present on the fox trap 1 entry, allowing to put a caller.

If the fox is classified as a nuisance in certain departments, it is because of its predatory nature and the diseases it can carry. It wreaks havoc on small game and in backyards. 

The disease it spreads, alveolar echinococcosis, is transmitted from foxes to humans. Hence the interest to regulate the fox population, by choosing among our fox traps such as the cage here present, the fox box, the snare trap, the billiard trap, the hingiol trap, the belisle trap, the garden box or all our other cage formats. 

Techniques of installation :

You can place your fox trap in the animal's passage along your henhouse, aviary or pen and put a bait in the middle on the pallet.

The animal triggers the trap by trying to grab it.

This will cause the sliding door to fall down and the animal will be trapped in the cage.

The fox trap is ideal to protect poultry, chickens, ducks, pheasants, partridges, aviary birds.

If you use a decoy for your fox trap, it must not be in contact with the predator. It must be sheltered from rain and sun, and must be fed regularly (also remember to give it something to drink).

The fox :

It is a canine, having the general appearance of a slender and rather small dog. It has large, pointed and erect ears. Its coat is generally reddish brown. Its length varies from 50 to 90 centimeters (without the tail), with a weight varying from 4 to 10kg. The fox causes a lot of damage to poultry houses, but also to small game. Its favorite preys are rabbits, hares, poultry, birds, etc... The fox knows how to adapt, it eats what it can get the most easily. It is therefore easy to attract it thanks to the fox trap with decoy.
