Bringing your fire to life
To light your fire, you will need fuel. Be careful though, if you want a nice long-lasting flame, although mixing is possible, choose only one. Also, avoid piling up too much fuel inside your outdoor brazier, to prevent the ashes from flying away.
It is advisable to use :
- Wood logs ;
- Reconstituted wood, such as wood pellets or compressed logs;
- Coal.
After this preparation, you can start your fire with firelighters.
Our secret: steel
This alloy allows you to have a solid product, but also relatively light (thanks to its size) and easier to work with. All this while maintaining an aesthetic appearance in keeping with the times.
It also supports very well the high temperatures, which is necessary for an external brazier. It will keep a solidity to any test. Its weight and shape allow it to be easily transported.
In addition, steel has a certain economic factor due to its long life. Once you buy it, you will have it for many, many years!
Where to place it?
It should not be placed in enclosed areas to avoid the build up of harmful gases during combustion, and it should not be placed under low tree branches to avoid the risk of flame spread.
Your outdoor brazier should be placed on the flattest possible surface to prevent it from tipping over. Don't worry, the wind won't be strong enough to make it move, but it's all about aesthetics.
Cover it with a tarpaulin in case of bad weather and when you are not using it for long periods of time, in order to protect it from rust.
